Our Goal

Just recently i went to look at a 17 hand 15 year old chesnut saddlebred. He was gorgeous from what i saw in the pictures. When i got there this lady brought him out of the barn, all i could see her bones. He had a wound on his rear that had never been cleaned. When i took his lead rope to walk him around, he nearly pulled me to the ground because it seemed as though he hadent seen grass in 8 years. I looked over the other horses they had. Only him and this other mustang were underweight, And when i asked why only these 2. The lady simply replied with "ohh we don't show them" . It made me sick. They wanted 1300$ for him. I couldn't afford it. Specially with feeding an underweight horse all winter. I'm trying my best to get him but his owner said if i couldnt come up with atleast 900$ he'll bring him to NewHolland.
